Peggy A. (Eddy) Frye, aged 78, of Loogootee, Indiana, passed away peacefully at Poplar Care Nursing Center in Loogootee on February 12, 2025.
Born on December 10, 1946, in Champaign, Illinois, she was the beloved daughter of the late Merton and Maxine (O’Bryant) Eddy. Peggy was united in marriage to James Frye on February 23, 1966, who preceded her in death.
Peggy is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Amy Ashby, and her partner Wade Hurdle of Loogootee, and her step-son, Bob Pielemeier, along with his wife, Brenda. She leaves behind cherished memories with her grandchildren: RJ Ashby, Abby Brabender and her husband Jeremy; Josh Pielemeier and his wife Beth, as well as seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Merton and Maxine Eddy, her husband James, and her siblings: Robert Eddy and his wife Barb, Elmo Eddy and his wife Jean, and Mike Eddy and his wife Mimi.
