UPDATE: Loogootee Police Department has said “Suspect’s cell phone has pinged back in Bowling Green, KY, and there is no further evidence he is in the area.”
It is believed that Smith is no longer in the Loogootee/Martin County area.

DENNIS T. SMITH, A 26 YEAR OLD BLACK MALE, 5’8″ TALL, 155 POUNDS, LAST SEEN WEARING A BLACK SKI MASK.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in an attempt to locate the black male described above. He was last seen in the Loogootee area near Pizza Junction after a vehicle pursuit and crash. He is considered to be armed and dangerous. If located, do not attempt to approach him, call 911.
