7:18 a.m.- Received a call reporting a possible fire in Shoals. Shoals Fire Department responded.

7:51 a.m.- Received a 911 call requesting an ambulance Northeast of Shoals. Martin County Medic 1 and Shoals Fire Department responded. Medic 1 transported one patient to Deaconess Memorial Medical Center.

10:57 a.m.- Received a report of possible property damage North of Shoals.
Sergeant Hawkins responded.

3:22 p.m.- Received a call requesting a Vehicle Identification Number check East of Shoals. Deputy Clark responded.

4:22 p.m.- Received a call requesting to speak with an officer. LPD Chief Cummings responded.

4:24 p.m.- Received a 911 call requesting an ambulance in Loogootee. Martin County Medic 1, Loogootee Fire Department, LPD Chief Cummings, Sergeant Hawkins and Deputy Clark responded. Medic 1 transported one patient to Daviess Community Hospital.

5:15 a.m.- Received a call reporting a disabled vehicle in Shoals. Major Reed responded.

10:03 a.m.- Captain Gibson transported one inmate to court.

10:42 a.m.- Captain Gibson transported two inmates to court.

12:39 p.m.- Received a 911 call requesting an ambulance North of Loogootee. Martin County Medic 1 and Loogootee Fire Department responded. Medic 1 transported one patient to Deaconess Memorial Medical Center.

1:26 p.m.- Received two 911 calls reporting a tree down Southeast of Shoals. Captain Gibson responded. INDOT was also notified.

1:59 p.m.- Received a call requesting a Vehicle Identification Number check Southeast of Shoals. Captain Gibson responded.

2:24 p.m.- Received a report of a reckless driver on US 231N traveling South. All on-duty units were advised.

2:58 p.m.- Received a call requesting an officer in Shoals. Marshal Copeland responded.

3:47 p.m.- Received a call requesting an ambulance North of Shoals. Martin County Medic 1, Shoals Fire Department, Captain Gibson and Sergeant Hawkins responded. Medic 1 transported one patient to Deaconess Memorial Medical Center.

5:15 p.m.- Received a 911 call reporting a reckless driver on US 50 traveling West. All on-duty units were advised.

6:44 p.m.- Received a 911 call reporting a reckless driver on US 231S traveling North. Deputy Clark responded.

7:21 p.m.- Received a report of a suspicious vehicle in Loogootee. Deputy Clark responded.

8:21 p.m.- Received a 911 call reporting a possible trespasser Southwest of Shoals. Deputy Clark and Marshal Copeland responded.

9:16 a.m.- Received a call requesting to speak with a deputy. Sergeant Hawkins responded.

9:28 a.m.- Received an accidental 911 call.

9:53 a.m.- Received a call from Shoals Community Schools advising they will be doing tornado drills today.

10:30 a.m.- Received a call requesting a deputy in Crane Village. Captain Gibson responded.

10:46 a.m.- Received a report of a controlled burn South of Loogootee.

11:23 a.m.- Received a report of a disabled vehicle East of Loogootee. Sergeant Hawkins responded.

11:26 a.m.- Received a report that they will be testing fire alarms at the Loogootee nursing home.

1:29 p.m.- Received a report of a reckless driver on US 231S traveling North. Advised all on-duty units.

1:51 p.m.- Received an accidental 911 call.

2:52 p.m.- Received a 911 call reporting a reckless driver on US 231S traveling South. Advised all on-duty units. Dubois County was also notified.

3:12 p.m.- Received a call reporting a field fire Northeast of Shoals. Martin County Medic 1, Shoals Fire Department, Sergeant Hawkins, Deputy Branham and Hoosier National Forest responded. No one was transported.

3:53 p.m.- Received a report of a reckless driver on US 50 traveling West. Captain Gibson responded.

4:42 p.m.- Received a call requesting a vehicle unlocked in Loogootee. LPD Assistant Chief Stuckey responded.

4:53 p.m.- Received a report of a water leak in Loogootee. Loogootee Utilities responded.

5:21 p.m.- Received a report of a neighbor dispute in Loogootee. LPD Assistant Chief Stuckey responded.

6:01 p.m.- Received a call requesting a deputy South of Shoals. Deputy Branham responded.

6:29 p.m.- Received an animal complaint in Loogootee. LPD Officer Purcell responded.

7:22 p.m.- Received a 911 call requesting an ambulance in Loogootee. Martin County Medic 1, Loogootee Fire Department and LPD Officer Purcell responded. Medic 1 transported one patient to Deaconess Memorial Medical Center.

Thursday, February 26, 2026

12:02 a.m.- Received a 911 call reporting a domestic dispute in Loogootee. Martin County Medic 1, LPD Officer Purcell, Captain Gibson, Deputy Droke and Major Reed responded. No one was transported.

12:56 a.m.- Sergeant Hawkins on station with Terri Williams, a 48-year-old female from Odon, arrested for Operating a vehicle while intoxicated-endangerment. She is being held on $10,000 10% bond.

12:58 a.m.- Received a call requesting to speak with a deputy. Captain Gibson responded.

2:20 a.m.- LPD Officer Purcell on station with Brian Henard, a 41-year-old male from Loogootee, arrested for Strangulation, Domestic battery, and Resisting Law enforcement. He is being held on $15,000 10% bond.

6:14 a.m.- Received a 911 call requesting an ambulance in Crane Village. Martin County Medic 1 and Crane Fire Department responded. No one was transported.

8:36 a.m.- Received a report of a disabled vehicle on US 231S near Loogootee. LPD Assistant Chief Stuckey, Captain Gibson and Big John’s Towing responded.

8:41 a.m.- Received a 911 call reporting the same vehicle. The caller was advised that units were enroute.

9:58 a.m.- Chief Deputy Keller transported one inmate to court.

10:04 a.m.- Received a report of a possible gas leak in Loogootee. Loogootee Fire Department responded.

10:06 a.m.- Received a call requesting a vehicle unlocked North of Shoals. Corporal Erwin responded.  

10:30 a.m.- Received a call requesting a vehicle unlocked in Loogootee. LPD Assistant Chief Stuckey responded.

12:59 p.m.- Received a call requesting a Vehicle Identification Number check Northeast of Loogootee. Corporal Erwin responded.

2:55 p.m.- Chief Deputy Keller transported one inmate to court.

3:00 p.m.- Received a request for an ambulance in Shoals. Martin County Medic 1 and Corporal Erwin responded. Medic 1 transported one patient to Deaconess Memorial Medical Center.

3:11 p.m.- Received a report of a communication loss alarm in Crane. Keyholder advised to disregard.

3:33 p.m.- Jail Officer Bills and Jail Officer Bradley on station with James Paauwe, a 41-year-old male from Jasper, arrested by Corporal Erwin on a Martin County warrant. He is being held without bond.

4:08 p.m.- Received a report of a possible trespasser Northeast of Shoals. Deputy Branham responded.

5:50 p.m.- Received a report of a possible threat and vandalism Southeast of Shoals. Corporal Erwin and Deputy Branham responded. Orange County was also notified.

6:27 p.m.- Received an accidental 911 call.

6:47 p.m.- Received a 911 call with no one on the line in Shoals. LPD Officer Purcell responded.

6:50 p.m.- Marshal Copeland on station with Larry Cook, an 84-year-old male from Jasper, arrested by Corporal Erwin for Intimidation with a deadly weapon, Criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, Pointing a firearm at another person and Shooting from roadway. He is being held on $30,000 10% bond.  

7:24 p.m.- Received a report of a vehicle repossession in Loogootee.

4:08 a.m.- Received a report of a reckless driver on US 231N traveling South. Deputy Droke and LPD Officer Purcell responded.

7:54 a.m.- Received a report of a controlled burn East of Shoals.

8:00 a.m.- Received a report of a reckless driver on US 231N traveling North into Daviess County. Advised Daviess County. ISP responded.

9:55 a.m.- Chief Deputy Keller transported one inmate to court.

9:56 a.m.- Received a 911 call requesting an ambulance in Shoals. Martin County Medic 1, Shoals Fire Department and Corporal Erwin responded. Medic 1 transported one patient to Deaconess Memorial Medical Center.

2:19 p.m.- Received a call requesting to speak with a deputy. Corporal Erwin responded.

2:37 p.m.- Received a 911 call reporting a disabled vehicle West of Shoals. Corporal Erwin responded.

3:01 p.m.- Received a 911 call reporting a reckless driver on US 231S traveling North. Chief Deputy Keller responded.

3:03 p.m.- Received a report of a telephone line down South of Shoals. Frontier was notified.

3:03 p.m.- Received a 911 call reporting a field fire South of Shoals. Lost River Fire Department responded.

3:37 p.m.- Received a 911 call reporting a disabled vehicle South of Shoals. Sheriff Greene and Marshal Copeland responded.

4:45 p.m.- Received a 911 call reporting an accident with no injuries in Loogootee. LPD Chief Cummings responded.

5:25 p.m.- Received a 911 call requesting an ambulance in Loogootee. Martin County Medic 1, Loogootee Fire Department and Deputy Branham responded. Medic 1 transported one patient to Deaconess Memorial Medical Center.

6:38 p.m.- Brandon Martin, a 50-year-old male from Mooresville, on station to serve a weekend commitment.

10:43 p.m.- Deputy Droke on station with Chealsie Senne, a 41-year-old female from Shoals, arrested for Operating a vehicle while intoxicated with juvenile in vehicle, Operating a vehicle while intoxicated-endangerment, Operating a vehicle while intoxicated  with BAC >.15, and Neglect of a dependent. She is being held on $15,000 10% bond.

11:50 p.m.- Marshal Copeland on station with Harold Gooding, a 61-year-old male from Sandoval, Illinois, arrested for Operating a vehicle while intoxicated-controlled substance with a prior, Operating a vehicle while intoxicated-endangerment, Possession of marijuana and Possession of paraphernalia. He is being held on $15,000 10% bond.

11:23 a.m.- Received a 911 call reporting a reckless driver on US 231S traveling South. Advised all on-duty units.

12:19 p.m.- Received a 911 call requesting an ambulance East of Shoals. Martin County Medic 1 responded and transported one patient to Deaconess Memorial Medical Center.

2:44 p.m.- Received a report of a field fire North of Shoals. Shoals Fire Department and Deputy Branham responded.

2:47 p.m.- Received a 911 call reporting the same fire. Advised the caller that units are enroute.

4:08 p.m.- Received a report of a possible traffic hazard West of Loogootee. LPD Chief Cummings responded.

6:09 p.m.- Received a call requesting assistance East of Shoals. Martin County Medic 1, ISP Troopers, Deputy Branham and Big John’s Towing responded. No one was transported.

3:29 p.m.- Received a 911 call requesting an ambulance in Crane Village. Martin County Medic 1, Loogootee Fire Department and Crane Naval Fire Department responded. Medic 1 transported one patient to Deaconess Memorial Medical Center.

4:28 p.m.- Received a report of a field fire in Lawrence County. Lawrence County requests mutual aid. Shoals Fire Department responded.
