6:27 a.m.- Received a message from Loogootee Community Schools advising they will be operating on a 2-hour delay today.

7:30 a.m.- Received a report of a tree down North of Loogootee. Martin County Highway Department responded.

8:57 a.m.- Chief Deputy Keller transported one inmate to court.

9:11 a.m.- Received a report of a controlled burn Northeast of Shoals.

9:38 a.m.- Received a report of a controlled burn Northeast of Shoals.

9:57 a.m.- Chief Deputy Keller transported one inmate to court.

11:13 a.m.- Received a call requesting a vehicle unlocked in Loogootee. LPD Chief Cummings responded.

11:57 a.m.- Received a call requesting a deputy in Shoals. Sergeant Hawkins and ISP Master Trooper Lents responded.

3:15 p.m.- Received a report of a controlled burn Northeast of Shoals.

3:21 p.m.- Received a call requesting a deputy in Shoals. Deputy Clark responded.

5:13 p.m.- Received a 911 call requesting an ambulance in Shoals. Martin County Medic 1, Shoals Fire Department and Marshal Copeland responded. Medic 1 transported one patient to Deaconess Memorial Medical Center.

5:13 p.m.- Received a 911 call reporting a domestic dispute in Loogootee. Martin County Medic 2, LPD Chief Cummings, Sergeant Hawkins and Deputy Clark responded. No one was transported.

8:34 p.m.- Received a call requesting a welfare check Southeast of Loogootee. Deputy Clark and Indiana Conservation Officer Fuhrman responded.

9:11 p.m.- Received a call requesting a vehicle unlocked East of Shoals. Marshal Copeland responded.

Tuesday, March 3, 2026

5:46 a.m.- Received two 911 calls with no one on the line on Crane Naval Base. Crane Naval Base was notified.

7:14 a.m.- Received a report of a controlled burn North of Loogootee.

7:47 a.m.- Received a report of a possible identity theft. ISP was notified.

9:26 a.m.- Received a call requesting assistance South of Loogootee. Chief Deputy Keller responded.

10:00 a.m.- Received a call requesting an ambulance in Shoals. Martin County Medic 2, Captain Gibson and Sergeant Hawkins responded. No one was transported.

10:07 a.m.- Chief Deputy Keller transported one inmate to court.

11:08 a.m.- Chief Deputy Keller transported two inmates to court.

12:59 p.m.- Chief Deputy Keller transported one inmate to court.

2:13 p.m.- Received a call requesting a Vehicle Identification Number check North of Shoals. Captain Gibson responded.

2:38 p.m.- Received a call requesting assistance in Shoals. Captain Gibson, Sergeant Hawkins and Marshal Copeland responded.

3:58 p.m.- Received a 911 call with no one on the line in Loogootee. LPD Chief Cummings responded.

4:15 p.m.- Received a call requesting extra patrol in Loogootee. All on-duty units were advised.

4:15 p.m.- Sergeant Hawkins on station with Rocky Baker, a 48-year-old male from Shoals, arrested by Marshal Copeland for Possession of methamphetamine, Possession of marijuana, Possession of paraphernalia, and Maintaining a common nuisance. He is being held on $15,000 10% bond.

6:13 p.m.- Received a call requesting an ambulance in Loogootee. Martin County Medic 1, LPD Officer Purcell, Deputy Clark and Indiana Conservation Officer Fuhrman responded. No one was transported.

6:17 p.m.- Received a call requesting to speak with an officer. LPD Officer Purcell responded.

6:27 p.m.- Marshal Copeland on station with Carol Baker, a 73-year-old female from Shoals, arrested for Possession of methamphetamine, Possession of marijuana, Possession of paraphernalia and Maintaining a common nuisance. She is being held on $15,000 10% bond.

6:44 p.m.- Jail Officer Mooneyham and Jail Officer Bradley on station with Robin Bruner, a 46-year-old male from Greenwood, arrested on a Martin County warrant. He is being held without bond.   

Wednesday, March 4, 2026

6:53 a.m.- Received a report of a tree down North of Loogootee. Martin County Highway Department responded.

7:09 a.m.- Received a report of a stop sign down in Loogootee. Notified LPD.

8:47 a.m.- Received a call from WH International advising of a residential burglar alarm Northeast of Loogootee. Captain Gibson and Marshal Copeland responded.

11:19 a.m.- Received a report of a possible traffic hazard West of Shoals. Sergeant Hawkins responded.

2:35 p.m.- Received a 911 call reporting a traffic hazard on US 231S. Advised on-duty units and Dubois County.

4:03 p.m.- Received a report of a tree down North of Loogootee. Martin County Highway Department responded.

4:03 p.m.- Received a report of a tree down in Daviess County. Daviess County was notified.

4:55 p.m.- Received an accidental 911 call.

5:58 p.m.- Received a 911 call with no one on the line in Loogootee. LPD Officer Purcell responded.

6:06 p.m.- Received a report of a reckless driver on US 231N traveling South. Deputy Branham responded.

7:24 p.m.- Received a report of a tree down Southwest of Shoals. Shoals Fire Department, Martin County Highway Department and Deputy Branham responded. Frontier was also notified.

8:23 p.m.- Received a call requesting an officer in Loogootee. LPD Reserve Captain Hunt and Big John’s Towing responded.

8:33 p.m.- Received a 911 call with no one on the line Southeast of Shoals. Deputy Branham responded.

8:33 p.m.- Received a report of possible trespassing Southeast of Shoals. Deputy Branham responded.

2:31 a.m.- Received a 911 call requesting a lift assist in Shoals. Martin County Medic 1 and Deputy Droke responded. No one was transported.

3:07 a.m.- Received an accidental 911 call.

6:10 a.m.- Received a 911 call requesting an ambulance in Shoals. Martin County Medic 1, Shoals Fire Department, Marshal Copeland, and Coroner Abel responded.

6:38 a.m.- Received a call reporting a tree down South of Loogootee. INDOT responded.

7:51 a.m.- Received a 911 call requesting to be transferred to Pike County. Transferred 911 call to Pike County Dispatch.

8:25 a.m.- Received a 911 call requesting to speak to a deputy. Captain Gibson responded.

9:50 a.m.- Received a 911 call requesting to speak to a deputy. Corporal Erwin responded.

10:07 a.m.- Received a call requesting to speak to an officer in Shoals. Marshal Copeland, Captain Gibson, Corporal Erwin, and Martin County Medic 1 responded. Medic 1 did not transport.

12:10 p.m.- Received a call requesting to speak to a deputy in regards to a theft complaint. Captain Gibson responded.

1:44 p.m.- Received a 911 call reporting a reckless driver North of Loogootee. LPD Chief Cummings responded.

1:47 p.m.- Received a 911 call requesting an ambulance East of Shoals. Martin County Medic 1 and Shoals Fire Department responded. Medic 1 transported one patient to Deaconess Memorial Medical Center.

2:42 p.m.- Received a 911 call requesting an ambulance in Shoals. Shoals Fire Department and Martin County Medic 2 responded. Medic 2 did not transport.

3:01 p.m.- Marshal Copeland is on station with Garrick Cooper, a 54-year-old male from Shoals. He was arrested for OVWI Controlled Substance, OVWI Endangerment and Possession of Marijuana. He is being held at $10,000 10% bond.

4:43 p.m.- Received a call reporting a suspicious male in Loogootee. Deputy Branham, Corporal Erwin, and LPD Assistant Chief Stuckey responded.

5:37 p.m.- Received a 911 call reporting debris on the roadway East of Shoals. Deputy Branham and Corporal Erwin responded.

6:45 p.m.- Received a 911 call reporting a commercial burglar alarm North of Loogootee. Deputy Branham responded.

12:25 a.m.- Received a call reporting a commercial burglar alarm in Loogootee. Deputy Droke responded.

10:44 a.m.- Received a call reporting a controlled burn South of Shoals. Shoals Fire Department advised.

1:03 p.m.- Received a call reporting a reckless driver North of Loogootee. Martin County Law Enforcement responded.

1:33 p.m.- Received a 911 call reporting a reckless driver South of Loogootee. Martin County Law Enforcement responded.

7:27 p.m.- Received a call reporting a suspicious vehicle North of Loogootee. Deputy Branham and Deputy Droke responded.

7:46 p.m.- Received a 911 call reporting a domestic violence situation South of Loogootee. Deputy Branham and Deputy Droke responded.

8:55 p.m.- Marshal Copeland is on station with Joshua Patterson, a 37-year-old male from Linton. He was arrested for Resisting Law Enforcement with a Motor Vehicle, OVWI Endangerment, OVWI, and Reckless Driving. He is being held at $15,000 10% Bond.

10:11 p.m.- Received a 911 call reporting a domestic violence situation South of Loogootee. Deputy Branham, Deputy Droke, and LPD Officer Purcell responded.

7:39 a.m.- Received a call reporting a tree that was struck by lightning East of Loogootee. Corporal Erwin and Daviess Martin REMC responded.

8:34 a.m.- Received a call reporting possible drug activity in Loogootee. LPD Assistant Chief Stuckey responded.

9:37 a.m.- Received a 911 call requesting an ambulance in Shoals. Shoals Fire Department and Martin County Medic 1 responded. Medic 1 transported one patient to Deaconess Memorial Medical Center.

11:48 a.m.- Received a call reporting a reckless driver West of Shoals. Corporal Erwin responded.

1:47 p.m.- Received a call requesting an ambulance in Shoals. Reserve Deputy Dorsey and Martin County Medic 1 responded. Medic 1 transported one patient to Deaconess Memorial Medical Center.

3:05 p.m.- Corporal Erwin is on station with Tommy Bertrand, a 53-year-old male from Elwood. He was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Paraphernalia. He is being held at $15,000 10% bond.

3:19 p.m.- Received a 911 call reporting a transformer exploding South of Shoals. Reserve Deputy Dorsey and Daviess Martin REMC responded.

4:51 p.m.- Received a call reporting a speeder complaint in Loogootee. LPD Assistant Chief Stuckey responded.

8:02 p.m.- Received a call requesting to speak to an officer in Loogootee. LPD Officer Purcell responded.

11:19 p.m.- Received a call reporting a reckless driver South of Loogootee. Deputy Branham, Deputy Droke, and LPD Officer Purcell responded.

Sunday, March 8, 2026

12:02 a.m.- Received multiple 911 accidental calls pinging in Daviess County. Advised Daviess County Central Dispatch.

12:15 a.m.- Received a call requesting a welfare check South of Shoals. Deputy Droke and Deputy Branham responded.

1:36 a.m.- Extra patrols completed West of Loogootee.

4:25 a.m.- Received a 911 call reporting a single-vehicle accident West of Shoals. Deputy Droke, Shoals Fire Department, Martin County Medic 1, and Big John’s Towing responded. Medic 1 transported one patient to IU Bedford Hospital.

7:57 a.m.- Received a 911 call requesting an ambulance South of Shoals. Martin County Medic 1 and Shoals Fire Department responded. Medic 1 transported to Daviess Community Hospital.

10:00 a.m. Received a call reporting a controlled burn Southeast of Shoals.

10:16 a.m.- Received a call reporting a vehicle stuck on a flooded road in Shoals. Corporal Erwin and Big John’s Towing responded.

10:18 a.m.- Received an accidental 911 call.

10:55 a.m.- Received a 911 call requesting an ambulance in Shoals. Martin County Medic 1 responded and transported one patient to Deaconess Memorial Medical Center.

11:46 a.m.- Received a 911 call requesting an ambulance North of Shoals. Martin County Medic 2 responded and transported one patient to Deaconess Memorial Medical Center. 

2:18 p.m.- Received a call reporting a water meter leak in Shoals. Town of Shoals was advised.

3:00 p.m.- Received a call requesting an ambulance in Loogootee. Martin County Medic 1 responded and transported one patient to Deaconess Memorial Medical Center.

4:00 p.m.- Received a call requesting extra patrol in Crane Village.

4:08 p.m.- Received a message from Shoals Community Schools advising they will be operating on a 2-hour delay Monday, March 9th.

4:54 p.m.- Received an accidental 911 call.

5:52 p.m.- Received a call from Monitoring Center reporting a burglary alarm in Loogootee. LPD Officer Purcell responded.

8:53 p.m.- Received a 911 call reporting a reckless driver traveling Southbound on US 231S entering Dubois County. Transferred to Dubois County 911.

9:08 p.m.- Received a call requesting to speak to a deputy. Deputy Clark responded.
