Hello visitors!

I hope everyone had a great holiday season and had a wonderful Christmas as 2025 will be here before you know it.

A lot has been going on in my life that has affected my publishing schedule recently as we have had a lot of news from Martin County that we have missed, and it was for a big reason.

Besides celebrating the holidays with family, I officially graduated from college and I hope to call this community home as our writers are making the move to Loogootee and the surrounding areas to cover more news and send out more tips to inform not only the public, but for you as well.

This publication hopes to have a more active year next year as this year was slower due to college and other needs.

I hope to bring in more writers, more public awareness and advance in our social media coverage as one of our resolutions next year.

We have one writer on staff right now, our Managing Editor, Mrs. Sasha Tishman, who is taking a break to finish up her time in school, so anything will help to add more writers to our team next year. It would help us out a lot if we have more writers and aspiring journalists of all experiences join our team.
