Loogootee Community Meeting Rescheduled to July 14

Loogootee Municipal Building, Indiana

LOOGOOTEE, Ind. — Mayor Brian Ader of Loogootee announced via the city’s official Facebook page that tonight’s community meeting has been rescheduled. The meeting was originally set for 6 p.m. at the Loogootee Municipal Building.

The rescheduling comes after authorities realized that proper notification was not issued in time to all relevant parties, prompting the decision to delay the meeting to ensure full community participation.

The new date is July 14 at 6 p.m. The mayor emphasized the importance of residents’ involvement and encouraged citizens to mark their calendars for the upcoming gathering. The meeting will cover local issues, community projects, and citizen concerns.

A full statement from Mayor Ader is available on the city’s Facebook page. Residents are advised to stay updated through official channels for additional information or any further changes.

“That proper notice of the Loogootee Board of Works meeting was not [properly] posted,” Ader said.

“That is in the best interest of the Loogootee Board of Works that the meeting be rescheduled to July 14, 2025 at 6 p.m. so that the notice of said hearing may be posted with compliance with [the] Indiana Open Door Law/

In summary, tonight’s meeting is canceled and will be held July 14 at 6 p.m.
