The required Physical Training test given to all police officers entering the force will be administered on July 19 instead of April 26.

Job Requirements & Qualifications
Applicants for the Full-Time Patrolman position must: Be 21 to 40 years of age before appointment to the department, have a high school diploma or GED, have a valid driver’s license, have no felony convictions, successfully complete PERF physical and psychological testing, pass department PT test standards set by the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy (Academy certified candidates are not required to complete the PT test), have been dishonorably discharged from the military. complete and pass a panel interview, be able to legally possess a firearm. and pass drug screening.
