Loogootee lost against Jasper back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lions took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-14, 24-26, 25-13.

Jasper can attribute much of their success to Nora Breitwieser, who had 14 digs and two aces.

Loogootee’s loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Loogootee and Jasper will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Lions are set to square off against their familiar foe Northeast Dubois at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Jasper will take on rival Evansville Reitz at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
