The North Daviess Community Growth Alliance is proud to present the Odon Harvest Festival on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Main Street in Odon.
This isn’t just another small-town gathering ~ it’s a brand-new chapter. With a newly organized team at the helm, countless hours of planning, and fresh ideas brought to life, the Odon Harvest Festival is being designed as THE signature fall event for southern Indiana.
At the heart of the celebration will be the vendor booths and food trucks lining Main Street. Visitors can shop handmade goods, seasonal décor, local specialties, and one-of-a-kind treasures while sampling everything from savory meals to sweet fall treats. Specialty coffees, hot chocolate, and other unique drinks will add to the experience, giving guests plenty of reasons to sip, snack, and stay awhile. So come hungry, ready to browse, and prepared to discover something new at every turn.
Main Street itself will be transformed into a picture-perfect fall scene, complete with straw bales, pumpkins, and seasonal displays that create a cozy yet magical atmosphere. Adding to the charm will be a spectacular lineup of scarecrows from the pre-event scarecrow decorating contest. Each scarecrow will bring its own personality and creativity to the street, making them not only a must-see attraction but also an open invitation for anyone inspired to build one and join in the fun.
Festival-goers can expect activities that go above and beyond, including a haunted maze, inflatable obstacle course, inflatable axe throwing, pumpkin decorating and painting, face painting, s’mores-making, and plenty of fall photo opportunities. Kids will have their own crafting table to decorate small pumpkins, along with exciting experiences like the Travis Burkhart Foundation Barrel Rides ~ a six-barrel train pulled by Travis in his track chair. For adults, the festival will also featureLittle Warrior Wishes Carriage Rides, a handicap-accessible carriage offering a special way to tour Main Street and soak in the festive atmosphere.
Making its Odon debut is the Power Wheels Demolition Derby, a crowd favorite in other communities that’s finally coming to town. The fun begins at noon with the kids’ division for ages 3–9, followed by an action-packed adult division for ages 16 and up. Both are expected to draw plenty of participants and spectators eager to cheer them on ~ because who doesn’t want to see cars collide in the most lighthearted way possible?
Entertainment will keep the celebration lively all day, with a live band in the afternoon and DJ sets into the evening. Visitors can also enjoy unique demonstrations like live wood carving, cheer on teams in the cornhole tournament, and show off their creativity in the always-festive costume contest ~ open to kids, adults, families, and even pets.
Competitions will add to the excitement, from the Chili Cookoff and Smoke-Off Meat Competition to the Fall Baking Contest, Pumpkin Decorating and Carving Contest, and the Pumpkin Pie and Cider Donut Eating Contests. The Live Pie Auction will keep the crowd bidding and laughing while supporting community spirit.
To make the day even more memorable, the NDCGA has worked with the Odon Town Board to align the festival with the town-wide trick-or-treating, giving families one central place to celebrate Halloween traditions along with the new fall festivities.
The Odon Harvest Festival is being built with purpose ~ to bring families, friends, and businesses together while showcasing everything our community has to offer. With word spreading across the wider region, organizers anticipate visitors not only from Knox, Daviess, Greene, and Martin counties, but throughout southern Indiana.
Mark your calendars now for Saturday, November 1, 2025. Bring your family and friends for a full day of shopping, food, contests, laughter, and memories on Main Street, Odon. With all that’s being planned, this isn’t just another event on the calendar ~ it’s THE fall festival everyone will be talking about.
