LOOGOOTEE, Ind- The annual Pre-Sectional Banquet will be held at the Lower Level of the St. John’s Center on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 6 PM Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the door for $20 and include a meal catered by Dutchman’s Diner.
This year’s guest speaker is Coach Scott Davenport, who served as head coach at Bellarmine University for 20 seasons before retiring in 2025. Davenport, who previously served as an assistant at Louisville and VCU, led Bellarmine to the 2011 NCAA Division II Championship and was named NABC Division II Coach of the Year that same year. He has also been recognized as a four-time GLVC Coach of the Year and led the ASUN team to the 2022 championship.
The IHSAA Boys Basketball Sectionals Tournament will begin on March 3-7.
Loogootee will be apart of Sectional #62 in the south region of the state hosting the following schools at Loogootee High School: Barr-Reeve, Loogootee, Medora, North Daviess, Orleans, Shoals, Vincennes Rivet, Washington Catholic.
