LOOGOOTEE, Ind. — The Loogootee High School girls basketball team has released its 2026-27 schedule, setting up a 25-date winter campaign marked by tough conference battles, local rivalries, and major tournament appearances.
The Lady Lions begin preparations Oct. 29 with an away scrimmage at White River Valley before opening the regular season at home Nov. 6 against Bloomfield. Loogootee faces early road tests with trips to Wood Memorial, Shoals, and North Daviess, while also hosting Eastern Greene and Mitchell.
Following a Dec. 1 road contest at Orleans, Loogootee settles into a seven-game homestand. The Lady Lions host Evansville Christian, White River Valley, Washington Catholic, Springs Valley, and traditional rival Barr-Reeve on Dec. 17. Loogootee closes the month at home against Forest Park and its annual Home Tournament on Dec. 23.
January begins with the Greene County Invitational from Jan. 4 to Jan. 9. Loogootee finishes the regular season with road tests at Tecumseh, Vincennes Rivet, South Knox, and North Knox, alongside home dates with Southridge and Northeast Dubois before sectional play begins Feb. 2 at Barr-Reeve.
