Polling Sites in Shoals and Loogootee, Ind. Have Been Confirmed

The 2024 General Election in Martin and Daviess County, Indiana will have some changes to voting locations this year.

The Shoals News has provided information on where to vote on Election Day, November 5.

The townships in Loogootee, Shoals, and Crane, Ind. will have no changes to the election sites at this time. In addition to voting for the President, Senate, Congress, and Governor, the General Election will also include Martin County government positions.

The following townships are listed in order based on the data provided by the newspaper:

Polling Sites in Loogootee

If you live in the following Perry Township areas in Martin County – 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6, you will vote at Saint John’s Center, 408 Church St., Loogootee, IN 47553.

If you live in the Perry Township 5 and Rutherford Township, you will vote at Saint Martin’s Church Hall, 524 Whitfield Road in Loogootee, IN 47553.

If you live in Perry Township 7 and Crane, you will vote at the Bramble Conservation Center, 1024 Bramble Road, Loogootee, IN 47553.

Polling Sites in Shoals

If you live at NORTH CENTER and MITCHELTREE, you will vote at the Dover Hill Church of Christ, 15581 N. State Road 450, Shoals, Ind. 47581.

If you live on NORTH HALBERT, SOUTH HALBERT, EAST MEMPHIS, and WEST MEMPHIS, you will be designated to vote at the Saint Mary’s Church Hall, 128 High Street, Shoals, Ind. 47581.

And finally if you live at SOUTHEAST HALBERT, SOUTH CENTER, and LOST RIVER in Shoals, you will vote at the Shoals American Legion, 224 High Street in Shoals, Ind. 47581.

You have until October 24 at 11:59 P.M. to request a ballot to vote absentee with a return date for the ballot on Election Day.

In-person absentee voting are taking place across the United States starting October 8-November 4.
