The Martin County Sheriff’s Department is experiencing issues with its landline phones, according to department officials. They emphasized that the 911 emergency system remains unaffected.
“We are aware of the problem and working to resolve it as quickly as possible,” a department spokesperson said. “In case of an emergency, residents should still dial 911.”
The department thanked the community for their understanding as repairs are underway.
For non-emergency issues, residents are advised to call the Loogootee Police Department at 812-295-1000, option 3.
This is an ongoing situation, and we will keep you informed of any updates. For further information, check out the Martin County Sheriff’s Office social media pages, including Facebook.
