Monday, June 1, 2026

8:13 am- Asst. Chief Stuckey responded to a report of two aggressive dogs running loose on A St.

12:17 pm- A commercial burglar alarm was received from a local business.

12:47 pm- The Loogootee Fire Department, Chief Cummings, and Asst. Chief Stuckey responded to an accident on Lincoln Ave.

Tuesday, June 2, 2026

10:17 am- A complainant advised of a power line possibly torn down by a wide load on US 231N.

11:23 am- A caller reported almost hitting a vehicle on W. Broadway St. due to its turn signals not working.

11:30 am- A complainant came to the station to speak with an officer about damage to the pickleball court from yesterday.

4:30 pm- Asst. Chief Stuckey completed a vehicle inspection on Industrial Park Dr.

Wednesday, June 3, 2026

8:10 am- A caller advised of flags outside of a local business that are a traffic hazard.

9:15 am- The Loogootee Fire Department responded to a medical alert on Able Lane.

10:00 am- Chief Cummings responded to a report of a possible impaired subject in a local business.

2:15 pm- A female came on station to report a battery.

2:45 pm- A male called and reported a residential entry.

3:38 pm- Chief Cummings responded to a report of possible gunshots in the area of North Line St. and Sycamore St.

3:48 pm- A male reported a leaky load of gravel on US 231N.

4:40 pm- Chief Cummings took a report of lost property.

Thursday, June 4, 2026

12:35 pm- A male caller requested assistance in retrieving personal property.

12:58 pm- The Loogootee Fire Department responded to a medical call on Mt. Calvary Rd.

3:15 pm- Chief Cummings completed a vehicle inspection on SE 3rd St.

4:53 pm- Chief Cummings spoke with a complainant on station about a suspicious person that came onto her property on W. Broadway St.

5:17 pm- Chief Cummings and Asst. Chief Stuckey responded to a report of a female that was possibly attempting self-harm on Redbud St.

Friday, June 5, 2026

8:09 am- A caller requested a welfare check on an individual who appears to be asleep in a car at a local business.

8:40 am – A male caller reported that he had lost his driver’s license.

10:29 am- A local business called regarding a vehicle in an area that is scheduled to be paved today.  

11:46 am- Chief Cummings completed a vehicle inspection on Hill St.

12:30 pm- Chief Cummings assisted with a funeral procession.

3:04 pm- Chief Cummings assisted Martin County Sheriff’s Dept. on a traffic stop with a vehicle involved in an accident in Dubois County and left the scene.

3:26 pm- Chief Cummings responded to a report of a semi with doors open on US 231N, nearing Loogootee.

Saturday, June 6, 2026

2:56 am- The Loogootee Fire Department responded to a medical call on SW 2nd St.

1:03 pm- The Loogootee Fire Department responded to a medical call on Cedar St.

3:05 pm- The Loogootee Fire Department responded to a medical call on First Rd. in Burns City.

4:03 pm- The Loogootee Fire Department responded to a medical call on Cedar St.

Sunday, June 7, 2026

4:13 pm- The Loogootee Fire Department responded to a report of an accident on US 231N.
