LOOGOOTEE, Ind. — Six Loogootee Jr.-Sr. High School student-athletes earned All-Conference honors for the 2026 fall sports season, school officials announced Monday.

The selections highlight standouts across girls volleyball, boys tennis, and boys and girls cross country, recognizing both multi-year honorees and breakout varsity performers.

Loogootee’s volleyball program placed three players on the All-Conference squad. Seniors Alaina Diamond and Jocelynn Sims each collected their second career All-Conference selections. Diamond served as a central offensive and defensive force at the net for the Lady Lions throughout the autumn, while Sims anchored the back row as the team’s primary defensive specialist and libero. Joining them was sophomore outside hitter and setter Lydia Hawkins, who garnered her first career All-Conference nod following an impactful campaign on the attack, at the service line, and on defense.

On the tennis courts, Cooper VanHoy secured his third consecutive All-Conference recognition. Playing at the No. 1 singles spot, VanHoy anchored the Lions’ lineup throughout the regular season and postseason, leading the squad to deep team dual victories and a sectional final appearance.

The Lions also celebrated two first-time honorees in cross country. Ava Jeffers and Knox Jeffers each earned their first career All-Conference awards after pacing Loogootee distance running throughout the regular schedule and extending their seasons into the postseason at the regional level.
