Tonight, five Loogootee High School Senior volleyball players along with two student managers will be honored tonight vs. Bedford North Lawrence starting with the Junior Varsity game starting play at 6 pm at historic Jack Butcher Arena.

Tonight is a special night for the high school as the fans, coaches, and players will honor the Seniors tonight with a special send off at home for the final time this season.

The Senior volleyball players to be honored tonight include: Addy Lengacher, Ava Fuhrman, Ashley Green, Breanna Courter & Cacia Wilcoxen

The team Senior Managers to be honored tonight include two honorable students who have worked hard preparing the team in and out.

These Seniors include: Brock Rayhill and Ella Parker.

Tonight’s festivities begin at 6 pm with the Junior Varsity showdown with the varsity volleyball game following after the JV game. After the Varsity game, more festivites will continue after the game with the Seniors celebrating the accomplishment.

Tickets for tonight are $7 per session with Children under five gettig in for free.

Loogootee’s volleyball season will not be over just yet as the Lions play Evansville Reitz and North Posey on October 12, before beginning IHSAA Sectionals play on October 19 as the Lions could play the winner of the Orleans vs. Shoals game to be determined two days before playing Loogootee.
