
LOOGOOTEE, Ind. (WTHI) A three-car crash on US 231 in Loogootee led to the arrest of a Worthington man on drug and impairment charges.
Indiana State Police responded to the crash Sunday morning and spoke with one of the drivers, Curtis Crisp, 43. A juvenile male was in the car with him.
Troopers said they noticed signs that Crisp was impaired during their conversation.
Troopers searched a backpack belonging to Crisp and found about 250 grams of suspected marijuana and legend drugs.
Crisp was taken to Daviess Community Hospital in Washington for a chemical test and medical clearance before being arrested.
He was booked into the Martin County Jail, where more suspected marijuana was found on him.
Crisp faces charges including operating while intoxicated with a minor passenger, neglect of a dependent, possession of a legend drug, dealing marijuana, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and possession of marijuana.
