


Daviess County – On Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at approximately 12:30 p.m., Trooper Steve Nolan was patrolling County Road 900 East near Cannelburg when he attempted to stop a silver passenger vehicle for speeding.
The driver initially attempted to elude Trooper Nolan. A short time later, Trooper Nolan located the vehicle and identified the driver as William Bradley. The two passengers were identified as Devyn Earl and Jociah Earl.
While speaking with the occupants, Trooper Nolan observed indicators of possible criminal activity and requested assistance from additional officers. Following their arrival, a search of the vehicle was conducted.
During the search, officers located suspected marijuana and approximately 30 grams of suspected methamphetamine.
Bradley, Devyn Earl, and Jociah Earl were arrested and transported to the Daviess County Jail, where they are being held on bond. During the investigation, a criminal history check revealed Bradley also had an active warrant out of Martin County.

*Possession of Marijuana (Prior) – Class A Misdemeanor
*Martin County – Warrant
Devyn M. Earl, 25, Etna Green, IN
*Possession of Methamphetamine Over 10 Grams (w/firearm) – Level 3 Felony
*Possession of Marijuana – Class B Misdemeanor
Jociah CT. Earl, 28, Loogootee, IN
*Possession of Methamphetamine (Prior) – Level 6 Felony
*Possession of Marijuana (Prior) – Class A Misdemeanor

Assisting Officers – Senior Trooper Andrew Watson, and the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office
All suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
