Monday, August 24, 2026

5:51 am- The Loogootee Fire Dept. responded to a report of illegal burning in Crane Village.

8:31 am- The Loogootee Fire Dept. responded to a report of an accident on US 231N.

11:09 am- A caller advised of a parking situation that is causing a traffic hazard on SE 2nd St.

11:21 am- Officer Burris responded to a property damage accident at SE 1st St and Church St.

7:47 pm- Officer Wagoner responded to a domestic dispute on S. Oak St.

9:27 pm- Officer Wagoner arrested Kevin Qualkenbush, a 51-year-old male from Shoals.  Qualkenbush was charged with Battery in the Presence of a Minor.

Tuesday, August 25, 2026

8:16 am- Chief Cummings responded to a commercial burglar alarm at a local business.

1:25 pm- Chief Cummings and Officer Burris responded to a property damage accident in the parking lot of a local business.

2:20 pm- Chief Cummings and Officer Burris assisted with a civil matter on North Line St.

Wednesday, August 26, 2026

7:43 am- The Loogootee Fire Dept. responded to a medical call on Sycamore St.

8:33 am- Chief Cummings was conducting speed patrols on Bloomfield Rd.

9:30 am- A local business owner called regarding a vehicle left on the business parking lot.

9:45 am- Chief Cummings spoke with a complainant on station to report harassment.

10:30 am- The Loogootee Fire Dept. responded to a medical call on SR 645.

11:35 am- Officer Burris assisted with a locked vehicle at Sunset Trailer Court.

1:55 pm- A subject came to the station to turn in a found property.

5:14 pm- Chief Cummings, Officer Wagoner, and Officer Burris completed a welfare check on North St.

5:41 pm- Chief Cummings, Officer Wagoner, and Officer Burris responded to a domestic dispute on Queen St.  Corbin Wildman, a 34-year-old male, from Loogootee, was arrested and charged with Battery in the Presence of a Minor, Strangulation, and Confinement.  

Thursday, August 27, 2026

9:26 am- Chief Cummings, Officer Wagoner, and Officer Burris responded to a report of a possible abandoned vehicle on North Line St.

9:34 am- Chief Cummings, Officer Wagoner, and Officer Burris responded to a report of an open door on a house.

10:36 am- Chief Cummings, Officer Wagoner, and Officer Burris responded to a report of a possible impaired driver entering Loogootee on US 231N.

11:19 am- Officer Wagoner and Officer Burris completed several vehicle inspections at a local business.

2:30 pm- Chief Cummings responded to a report of a gravel truck with a leaky load nearing Loogootee on US 50E.

8:44 pm- Chief Cummings located lost property and returned it to the owner at a local business.

Friday, August 28, 2026

9:12 am- Chief Cummings and Officer Burris responded to a report of a battery that occurred at a local business.

10:54 am- A subject came on station to turn in found property.

11:09 am- A caller reported a theft.

2:34 pm- A subject came on station to report harassment.

Saturday, August 30, 2026

4:14 pm- The Loogootee Fire Dept. responded to a report of a controlled burn possibly getting out of control of US 231N.

9:02 pm- The Loogootee Fire Dept. responded to a medical call on Cedar St.
