LOOGOOTEE, Ind. — Members of the Loogootee High School Class of 2006 will gather next month to celebrate their 20-year class reunion.
The milestone event is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Loogootee American Legion Country Club, located at 607 Church St. Festivities will kick off at 6:30 p.m., with no set end time planned for the evening.
Attendees will be treated to pizza and breadsticks, while attendees are asked to bring their own beverages (BYOB). The informal gathering offers classmates a chance to reconnect, reminisce, and catch up two decades after walking across the graduation stage.
Organizers are suggesting a $10 donation per person to help cover the costs of food and venue arrangements. Digital contributions can be made in advance via Venmo to @Whitney-Wagoner-3. Cash donations will also be accepted at the door throughout the evening.
In addition to bringing classmates together, the event will give back locally: organizers announced that any excess funds collected beyond the cost of hosting the reunion will be donated directly to a nonprofit organization based in Loogootee.
