Cross Country: Lions Family Leads the Pack at Southridge

Cross country is not for the weak, and our runners showed up in force at Southridge! The Lions swept top-place finishes—led remarkably by members of the same family:

  • Ava Jeffers: 1st Place finish (23:21) leading the first race of the day.
  • Knox Jeffers: 2nd Place finish (17:44), finishing right behind the defending state champion.
  • Griffyn Thompson (Cousin): 1st Place in the middle school race (11:30).

Middle School Top Finishers: Chayse Houston (11th, 12:59), August Weitkamp (16th, 13:31), Liam Hilligoss (17th, 13:34), and Noah Sergent (25th, 13:54).
Girls Top 25 Finishers: Embry Wade (12th, 14:20), Lyric Graber (13th, 14:28), Trinity Kerns (24th, 16:05), and Everlye Jeffers (25th, 16:06).

Several athletes achieved major time improvements! The middle school team will be back in action this Saturday at Crawford County. We are so proud of each and every runner!
